Lions place third at MSI BEAT IT

Lions have claimed third place in the MSI BEAT IT tournament following their victory over TyLoo on two out of three maps.
Chinese side TyLoo gained the best initial start by posting a scoreline of 3-0, but their success was short-lived as Lions quickly caught up with them at 6-6. Neither teams seemed to be superior over one another, but, ultimately, TyLoo sealed the deal at 9-6.
As history repeats itself, TyLoo, now playing Terrorists, once again came off to a better start with their same 3-0 scoreline like in the previous half. This time around it was Lions who would restrain TyLoo, as they leapt past them with a 8-4 score. TyLoo did however not concede and were able to take the match in for overtime.
Overtime commenced and both teams shared one round each, finally seeing TyLoo score the third. Lions tied them up once again by nailing the first round after side swap, followed by yet another round for the Chinese. The Swedish Lions brought the game in to another overtime as they claimed the last round.
History once again repeated itself as both teams shared one round each, while TyLoo got a hold of the third. Swapping sides, Lions progressed to capture two rounds, while TyLoo managed the last, which meant yet another overtime. The last overtime saw Lions take four straight rounds, thus winning the first map at 25-21.
Moving on to de_inferno, TyLoo started out by a successful push towards Bombsite A, which also gained them an advantage in the rounds to come, moneywise. It was not before the scoreboard displayed 5-0 in TyLoo's favor that Lions would retaliate. However, their retaliation was not of the powerful, as Lions only managed to secure two rounds, something TyLoo also did in the meantime.
Those two rounds, plus an additional round, would be the only rounds Lions would cop, as the score ticked in to 12-3 in favor of TyLoo.
As the teams swapped sides, Lions immediately restrained the Chinese side, not allowing them more than two rounds to their ten. TyLoo had definitely lost their pace from the previous half, and even worse, they were no longer in a tremendous lead. However, the following two rounds would belong to TyLoo, taking the match in for at third map with the scoreline of 16-14.
Now on de_nuke, a notorious Swedish map, Lions gained a great start by posting a 8-0 lead within short time, and it certainly did not look bright for TyLoo. Even though, the Chinese side managed to score five rounds before the first half concluded in Lions' favor.
Things worsened at side swap as Lions nailed the first round, leaving TyLoo in a less prosperous situation. Less prosperous situations do not go hand in hand with round deficit. Meanwhile, both teams managed to secure four rounds each, followed by TyLoo snatching another one, putting the overall score to 14-10. The score became 15-15 by impressive play from TyLoo, putting the match in for yet another overtime.
As the fourth overtime of the match commenced, TyLoo got the better of Lions by taking two rounds, the latter being heavily inspired by Wang "karl" Xi. The Swedes on the other hand had to settle for one. They did however tie up in the following round as they steamrolled the Chinese, and lastly, both teams got one round each, taking the match into yet another overtime.
Going into the fifth overtime, this time around Lions overcame TyLoo the first two rounds. TyLoo struck back and secured the third round. Swapping sides, Lions only secured one round, while TyLoo got the better of them and copped two, resulting in even more overtime.
Now, amazingly, on the sixth overtime both teams started out by nailing one round each, while Lions claimed the third as theirs. As the teams switched sides, both teams once again took one round each, whereas Lions finally sealed the last to win 25-23.
